Lassiter Verbals To Florida State University

Newton North combo-guard Sayawni Lassiter (Class of 2017) has given her verbal commitment to play college basketball at Division-1 Florida State University.

Highly touted nationally as a middle schooler, Lassiter (Say-Say) battled through some injuries during the middle years of her high school career at Newton North. She is now healthy, and once again one of the top players in New England. 

Say-Say has always played her AAU ball for her uncle Clinton Lassiter's program, the Boston Showstoppers.
