"Boston Herald Dream Teamer Brianna Herlihy announced today she would attend Villanova on a basketball scholarship, joining her older sister Bridget, who will be a freshman at Villanova this fall.

Brianna Herlihy, a 6-foot wing player, averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds a game in leading Braintree to an undefeated season and its second consecutive Division 1 state title. Herlihy was a Herald All-Scholastic as a sophomore, playing a key role in Braintree's run to the championship."

Brianna plays her AAU basketball for Bay State Magic Elite coached by Pat Russell.

Former Old Rochester Bulldog and current Lawrence Academy stand out, Gabrielle Reuter, has given her verbal commitment to Stonehill College. 

Reuter, a long and athletic forward, plays her AAU basketball for the Rhode Island Breakers coached by Jim Edgehill.
